Kailee Bosch is from Fort Collins, Colorado. She obtained her Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in Sculpture and Pottery from Colorado State University in 2020. Her work has been included in numerous juried and group exhibitions including Traces (POP Exhibition) at the Gallery of Wood Art St. Paul, MN and Turnabout Women at the Lathe at Arrowmont School of Arts and Crafts Gatlinburg, TN. She has been a demonstrator and instructor for the youth turning program at the National AAW Conference in Kansas City, MO and Portland, OR, teaching youth 10-18 about woodturning. She was also recently selected as a Wingate ITE Student Resident at the Center for Art in Wood in 2021. Her work stems from her background in woodturning, but has evolved to include a variety of materials and processes. She has gained experience in a variety of materials and processes working for her father’s tool making business, and enjoys working in wood, bronze and clay. Kailee is interested in and blending traditional craft practices with digital fabrication, making both functional objects and speculative designs.
